Remote Senior Full Stack Python Developer

Summary

Join our client, a Singapore-based legal services firm, as a Senior Full Stack Python Developer to build products, launch and manage subsequent issues, and collaborate with the technical team. You will be responsible for turning product vision into working software, developing prototypes, and driving implementation via iterative development cycles.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Python and Django Development Experience
• Experience in Frontend Development using JavaScript Frameworks such as React (Preferred), Angular, or Vue
• Good working knowledge of database technologies including PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with production concerns including Security, Privacy, Cloud, Integration
• Has a demonstrated experience of starting with an idea, building a product/solution, launching it and dealing with subsequent issues including production issues, bug fixes and roll-out of new features
• Excellent Communication Skills in English in order to understand requirements clearly and effectively collaborate with foreign counterparts
• Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable working with a multinational team

Responsibilities

• Day to day responsibility for turning the company’s product vision into working software
• Work closely in conjunction with the CEO (who is providing the vision)
• Be responsible for developing prototypes and for driving the implementation via iterative development cycles, of the tech roadmap (in conjunction with CEO/senior leadership team)
• Identify solutions and make recommendations regarding: Solution architecture Software development tools and approaches Programming languages and frameworks
• Manage and work closely alongside partners, including digital marketing agency + 3rd party front-end developers as appropriate/necessary
• Help to identify and evaluate complementary resources to accelerate development including 3rd parties, freelancers as well as future employees

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with at least one compiled language (C, C++, Swift, Go etc.)
• Experience working in a startup company
