About the Role

We are currently seeking an iOS Design Technologist who will play a central role in building out the next generation of our design system’s components and infrastructure. You’ll work with a high-performance, collaborative, cross-functional, and friendly team. Your work will help us scale our mission to provide access to the food people love and more time to enjoy it together.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in iOS app UI development
  • Practical knowledge and experience using SwiftUI and UIKit
  • Effective in developing native mobile applications with accessibility in mind
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Solid understanding of fundamental design principles and a high attention to detail in UI implementation
  • An exceptionally collaborative approach towards working with design and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in writing developer-oriented documentation
  • Experience working directly on a design system team a huge plus

Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here.

Offers may vary based on many factors, such as candidate experience and skills required for the role. This role also includes a Sales Incentive Plan. Additionally, this role is eligible for a new hire equity grant as well as annual refresh grants. Please read more about our benefits offerings here.

For Canadian based candidates, the base pay ranges for a successful candidate are listed below.

$162,000—$180,000 CAD
