Remote Senior Java Developer

Hire Resolve’s CLient is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team in JHB, GP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications that align with business needs and user requirements. With a strong focus on quality software development, you will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle and become a key player in driving innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications

• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to their professional growth

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years of experience in Java development

• Proficiency in Java EE and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services

• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices

• Experience with version control systems like Git

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
