As a Java Developer, you will work in a collaborative Scrum team, utilizing your expertise in Java, Spring framework, and AWS Cloud platform. Requirements

  • 5+ years Java development experience
  • Experience with the Spring framework (Spring Boot 1 & 2) for the development of new or existing Microservices
  • SQL databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
  • Familiar with all phases of software development; from requirements gathering and design through to build, deployment and support
  • Strong experience of unit and regression testing
  • Clear orientation to develop with quality and best practices in code development
  • The ability to operate well under a variety of different situations and types of projects

Responsibilities

  • Develop software to meet our client's user needs using Java on the AWS Cloud platform
  • Follow best practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines
  • Contribute to the other areas of development within the project using latest technologies
  • Create best in class documentation with our client users in mind
