Remote Senior JDE Technical Developer

We are seeking a full-time JDE Senior Software Developer/Programmer with proven experience in the Oracle JDE ERP environment. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain new or enhanced applications and systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards. You will also troubleshoot and resolve reported application/system issues, as well as develop reports and establish efficient report delivery mechanisms.

The ideal candidate will have previous consulting experience in JDEdwards upgrades, implementations, advisory services, and client engagements. A strong combination of functional and business acumen, along with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with client IT and technical leaders, is essential.

Location:

· Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location.

· Although the position is fully remote, there may be occasional travel required based on job needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops applications for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne using the JDE E1 development toolset
• Collaborates with JDE EnterpriseOne functional consultants and development teams to design, develop, and deliver integrated solutions that are scalable, adaptable, and sustainable in accordance with established standards.
• Develops, tests, implements, and maintains applications, reports and integration processes in 3rd party JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems as needed.
• Analyzes and resolves technical and application problems in a timely manner.
• Keeps up to date with the latest JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technologies.
• Provides technical support for all service tickets created for assigned systems. Assist, train, and coordinate with other technical staff as needed.
• Provides high-level analysis and estimates for new project requests.
• Assists with process reviews and provides suggestions for improvement.
• Maintains technical documentation and assist with development of functional specifications.
• Reports status regularly to department management and interacts with business leaders.
• Performs application development with minimal guidance and direction.
• Write complex reports using JDE toolkit and BI Publisher or other tools as needed.
• Develops mobile applications for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne preferred.
• Develops integrations with robotics and/or production equipment preferred
• Creates Orchestrations and Notifications using the JDE Orchestrator Studio and specialized supporting scripts using development tools like Groovy, JRuby etc.
• Performs Unit testing to ensure applications and processes work as expected.
• Provides maintenance and support of ERP applications and systems
• Develops client relationships that foster a better understanding of the business needs.
• Mentors and supports junior team members.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years’ experience with Oracle JD Edwards E1 development
• 5+ years experience with JDE Orchestrator and User Define Objects development and Studio
• Experienced in designing Cafe One, E1 Pages, Composite Pages, Power Forms, UDOs, Process Recorder
• Experienced in the latest Release 24 and latest tools release 9.2.5.8
• Experience with DSI scripting development a plus
• Experience developing applications using Java and/or C a plus.
• In Depth knowledge of JDE Enterprise One Toolset: Forms Design Aide (FDA), Reports Design Aide (RDA), (NER/ C business functions), Table Conversions, OMW Financial Reporting BI Publisher EnterpriseOne Pages, Object Librarian
• JDE Enterprise One Integration/API Tools: BSSV, AIS & REST, Groovy, JDeveloper, Orchestrator Studio/Orchestrations, Real-Time Events (RTE)
• Knowledge of Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of RFSmart or DSI Scanning solution and integration is a plus.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills required.
