Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong MS Dynamics F&O and Project Accounting experience. The work is located in Calgary, AB – but candidates will be able to work remotely. (Some occasional travel might be required).

Though you are able to work remotely, candidates must be located within Canada.

**We are able to consider both employee applicants AND contractors for this project.

It will be an initial 6 month contract, with possibility of extension.

RESPONSILITITES:

You will be joining an in-flight project for the implementation of MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Accounting (F&O).

This is a complex project, running concurrently to the implementation of MS Dynamics-HR. The 2 projects have complex interdependencies, and there are multiple vendors involved.

**If you do not have at least one MS Dynamics F&O implementation project under your belt as a PM, you will not be considered.

Qualifications

  • You MUST HAVE 5-10 years experience as a Project Manager, with at least one project involving the implementation of MS Dynamics F&O and/or MD Dynamics Project Accounting under your belt.  **NOTE: Applicants who do not have this specific MS Dynamics F&O-experience will not be shortlisted.
  • YOU MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE WITHIN CANADA, and be eligible to work in Canada.
  • For resources local to Calgary, AB – you will be expected to work on-site / in office 1-2 days per week.
  • You must be able to accommodate working in Mountain time-zone – standard business hours.
  • You must have strong stakeholder management skills, and proven ability to navigate  a complex project with interdependencies and multiple stakeholders & vendors.
  • Strong vendor management and coordination skills, with proven ability to hold vendors to account
  • Proven ability to join a project mid-flight, assess the current state, and provide value / ramp up quickly will be considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to adhere to established project governance and promote the same to the team and vendor resources
  • PMP or equivalent certification will be considered an asset
  • You MUST HAVE exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Experience collaborating with an Organizational Change Management lead, and incorporating OCM best-practices around communication and overcoming resistence to your standard Project Management deliverables will be considered an asset
