Responsibilities

• Working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective and appealing designs
• Performing user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions
• Translating insights from research through the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user-centred principles
• Distilling simplicity from complex user requirements
• Designing responsive layouts that meet accessibility standards
• Discussing and explaining design options
• Working with the tools of the trade, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Invision, Axure, Marvel, Overflow, etc
• Using tools like JIRA and Confluence to facilitate cross-functional collaboration
• Flexibility, decision-making and focusing on the needs of the customer
• Leading large and complex projects
• Defining and prioritising problems to be tackled
