Requirements

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your WordPress projects
  • Expertise in PHP programming and MySQL database management
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Experience working with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile optimization techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and clients
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role
  • Experience with popular page builders, such as Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, etc
  • Familiarity with website architecture, aesthetics, and user experience principles
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques for WordPress websites
  • Contributions to the WordPress community, such as plugins or themes published on WordPress.org

Responsibilities

  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client specifications, optimizing performance and user experience
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Monitor and inform upstream on team performance and process improvements
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality and user interaction
  • Integrate content into WordPress themes, ensuring seamless user experiences
  • Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development, recommending innovative solutions to improve workflow and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders to provide status updates, gather requirements, and address any concerns or challenges
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed
  • Continuously test, debug, and improve website performance, load times, and overall user experience
  • Work without support team on Wordpress issues
