Sms/Voice Engineer

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Have 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the telecommunications or marketing industry
• Possess strong proficiency with Go
• Have familiarity with Ruby, Java, Python, OR C#
• Have experience with developing and managing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Have an excellent understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures
• Possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, and implement innovative SMS and voice marketing applications that align with the company's marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement
• Ensure the applications are scalable, robust, and can handle high volumes of messages and calls
• Continuously monitor and optimize the applications for performance, reliability, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or bugs that arise with the applications promptly
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in SMS and voice marketing
• Research and recommend new features and enhancements to improve the functionality and effectiveness of the applications
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer support, to ensure seamless integration and support of the applications

Have familiarity with SMS and voice marketing platforms, protocols, and technologies

• The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $1,500 - $2,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset
