Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Fluent in at least one major programming language and would be able to switch between multiple languages
  • Solid experience building software on top of relational & non-relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB
  • Write high quality, maintainable, testable code
  • Break down complex problems rigorously and understand the tradeoffs necessary to deliver great, impactful products
  • Be curious, data-driven, love to ask questions, and think critically about problems
  • Deliver value to users and teammates through work

  • Solve the root causes of problems that homeowners and professionals face by creating top-tier experiences and systems
  • Use cutting-edge technologies, including Generative AI (Gen AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), to build multimodal experiences that transform how users express their needs
  • Help homeowners confidently decide what to do next by transforming the way they express their needs

What you’ll need

If you don’t think you meet all of the criteria below but still are interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and we’re looking for someone excited to join the team.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Fluent in at least one major programming language and would be able to switch between multiple languages. We mainly use Go, Python  with Swift, Kotlin and Java for our mobile apps
  • Solid experience building software on top of relational & non-relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB
  • Write high quality, maintainable, testable code
  • You can break down complex problems rigorously and understand the tradeoffs necessary to deliver great, impactful products
  • You’re curious, you’re data-driven, you love to ask questions, and you think critically about problems
  • You love delivering value to your users and your teammates through your work

Bonus points if you have

  • Familiarity with building APIs for full fledged products
  • Familiarity with LLMs, machine learning frameworks (Langchain etc), model performance monitoring & fine tuning
  • You have experience with generative AI infrastructure and vendors
  • You’ve demonstrated your ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
