Remote Software Engineer, Backend (Platform)

Join our Platform core team as a skilled Backend Engineer to build backend services, develop APIs, and implement business logic that drives key features.

Requirements

• Proficient in Golang, with over 3 years of experience in building and maintaining backend services
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB (nice to have) for data management and storage, including schema design and performance optimization
• Proficient in RESTful API design, microservices, and building secure, scalable APIs
• Strong analytical skills, with proven experience investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues in a live environment
• Experience in building and maintaining automated test suites

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, ship and maintain backend services to support various platform functionalities
• Write business logic to meet complex requirements, translating product needs into scalable backend solutions
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, maintaining high service availability and reliability
• Participate in technical design and planning discussions
• Ensure code quality through regular code reviews, bug resolution, automated testing, and performance monitoring
• Work closely with other teams to integrate backend services across the organization
