Requirements

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (verbal and written)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-paced, patient service environment as a Spanish Bilingual CSR
  • Experience handling high volumes of calls (both inbound and outbound)
  • Certification in Spanish language proficiency is a plus
  • Experience in scheduling appointments is essential
  • Prior experience in a Radiology practice is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrable work experience as a Patient Service Representative or in a similar capacity
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and the insurance landscape
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong analytical and customer service skills
  • Capability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and thrive in a dynamic remote setting
  • Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) technology

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote assistance to Spanish-speaking patients via phone, ensuring effective communication
  • Answer inbound calls while addressing patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
  • Manage the process of patient intake and record admissions/discharges as necessary
  • Resolve inquiries from members and/or providers efficiently
  • Deliver information pertaining to eligibility, benefits coverage, claims, and prior authorizations
  • Guide patients through their healthcare experiences with bilingual support
  • Accurately schedule and reschedule appointments based on patient needs
  • Follow up on patient accounts regarding payment and insurance information
  • Ensure complete confidentiality and accurate maintenance of patient records
