🌟 Staff Backend Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Staff Backend Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a individual who is excited about finance and takes interest in building products that touch complex financial topics. As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products, from conception to launch.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Create reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to the strategic direction of our backend architecture.
• Lead by example. Promote a culture of egoless learning and participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

🙌 Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in backend development
• An understanding or desire to work in Golang
• Demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders across a variety of disciplines
• Familiarity with leveraging AI tools

Annual Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 USD, plus equity to be negotiated.
