Remote Staff Software Engineer, Corporate Banking

• Card Issuing: A fully featured platform for Visa, Mastercard, or private level issuing of credit and prepaid cards. Pismo’s platform allows its customers to control everything from client acquisition to account management.
• Digital Banking & Wallets: Pismo provides a transaction banking core for modern digital banking experiences, from easy client acquisition to enriched cash-in / cash-out operations and internal transfers / P2P transactions.
• Seller Management: From the onboarding to the daily management of each seller, Pismo’s platform runs a workflow process with pertinent settlement and commercial parameters for each transaction, such as MDR, clearing rules, settlement requirements, and days to pay.

Summary

The Corporate squad is responsible for the entire lifecycle management of corporate accounts. Division and hierarchy settings, calendar and holiday settings, and related permissions. Also responsible for account dormancy and account balances.

What you’ll do

• Write code that can implement the technical designs developed by the team in an efficient, readable, testable, and well-documented way;
• Have the ability to implement readable tests with good coverage of business rules and also against errors;
• Contribute positively in all stages of the software development cycle performed in the context of your team: design, requirements, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation;
• Maintain and improve existing code bases by performing continuous and disciplined code reviews with your peers;
• Collaborate with your peers to establish constantly evolving best practices, approaches, techniques, and methodologies for efficiency gains, productivity, and waste elimination;
• Ensure that your entire team follows software development best practices through code reviews and ensure the stability of your team’s applications through environment monitoring;
• Act in occurrences, incidents, and also be able to participate in on-call shifts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in Golang or  Java

• Experience in System design and architecture

• Experience with relational and non-relational database

• Experience with scalability and Performance Tuning

• Experience  with Transaction Integrity and Consistency

• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure
