Remote Staff UX Researcher

Summary

Join the team as Twilio’s next Staff Researcher (L4) and lead democratization efforts by enabling and empowering Product and UX teams to generate insights that help transform the Twilio end-to-end user experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in user research for a software product or platform
• PhD or Masters degree (or equivalent experience)
• Mixed-method experience is a must! Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods and concepts
• Ability to write research findings in a clear, concise and compelling manner to audiences with varying levels of research understanding
• A strong design-thinking mindset and familiarity with the product development process
• Experience working closely with cross-functional UX and product teams to uncover insights and vision, often via workshop facilitation
• A portfolio that demonstrates insightful output and business impact
• Very strong storytelling, presentation, and influence skills across multiple audiences
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement programs across cross-functional teams to drive measurable change

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, and Deliver research training to cross-functional stakeholders with varying levels of prior research knowledge
• Consult with cross-functional partners in developing lines of inquiry, methods of analysis and synthesis, and delivery of evidence-based findings
• Build a democratization program by partnering with UX Design, Product, and Research Operations to ensure every Twilion has the customer, user, and buyer evidence they need to rapidly identify and adapt to growth opportunities
