Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role preferred, minimum of 2 years required
- Knowledge of or experience with a technical subject such as software engineering
- Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable information for customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Excellent software troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Skilled at prioritization and multitasking
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product designers, developers, and subject matter experts to understand complex product details and features
- Research, plan, and develop comprehensive technical manuals, user guides, and product release notes
- Write and edit technical documents, adhering to established company standards and guidelines
- Review, revise, and enhance documents prepared by others, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor documentation progress, quality metrics, and knowledge transfer schedules
- Spearhead the establishment and maintenance of style guides, ensuring consistency across all documentation and materials
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring the smooth exchange of technical information among team members
- Provide advanced writing, editing, and design support to team members, offering guidance on best practices and maintaining a high standard of quality
