Remote Vice President, Align the Streets

Join Movement Labs as a Senior Leader to build the Align the Streets program, leading efforts to stop Trumpism and defeat fascism.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience leading progressive movement work at the national level
• Strong track record of building coalitions and bringing leaders together around common goals
• Experience building and growing campaigns from scratch, from ideation to execution
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into accessible messaging
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and driving collaborative efforts
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for outreach and engagement
• Previous roles in political strategy or campaign management
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for progressive causes and commitment to social justice

Responsibilities

• Movement Leadership: You know what it takes to build and lead a progressive movement at the national level; and you’ve got serious policy, organizing and messaging wins under your belt
• Coalition Building: You are well-networked within progressive movement spaces at the national level, and you know what it takes to bring people together around common interests
• Creative Program Development and Execution: You’re a creative thinker who isn’t afraid to try new approaches to reach audiences and win your campaigns. You know how to get buy-in for a concept and work with a team to build out new campaigns
• Outreach and Mobilization: Design and execute mass outreach campaigns supported by Movement Labs, utilizing organized and other outreach methods to galvanize public opinion and pressure decision-makers
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align efforts and maximize impact
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track progress, measure success, and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding campaign developments and outcomes
• Resource Management: Oversee budget and resource allocation for initiatives
