Job Summary: The BI / Data Visualization Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that drive business insights. This role involves deep collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of effective and impactful data-driven solutions. A strong understanding of data modeling, visualization best practices, and UI/UX principles is required to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and develop dashboards and general visualizations of KPIs and metrics based on business needs and stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and Data Curation Engineers to prepare data for visualization and ensure its accuracy and quality.
• Interpret data models and develop queries to extract necessary data for reporting purposes.
• Monitor and maintain data in reporting systems, ensuring the reliability of reports.
• Utilize curated data to align metric reporting across dashboards.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to enhance stakeholder engagement, documentation of KPIs/metrics, and the overall design of dashboards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong background in business analysis and domain-specific knowledge.
• Proficient in UI/UX design principles for dashboard development.

Role-specific Requirements:

• Experience in data visualization, data analysis, and reporting development.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams to ensure data integrity and quality in reporting.
• Familiarity with creating, documenting, and maintaining KPIs and metrics.

Technologies:

• PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• SQL/SparkSQL for querying data.
• Version control systems (e.g., Git).

Skillset Competencies:
