Renewable Project Developer

Summary

Fuse Energy is offering a 6-month paid internship for a highly motivated individual with an interest in renewable energy to join their Project Development team in London. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of renewable energy project development, including site identification and origination, feasibility studies, permitting, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in a STEM subject - ideally engineering
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential project sites
• Conduct outreach to potential landowners
• Conduct research and analysis to support project feasibility assessments
• Assist in preparing documentation for permitting and regulatory processes
• Support stakeholder engagement activities
• Assist in the coordination of project development activities with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of project development processes is a plus
• Previous experience or coursework related to renewable energy is desirable
