Requirements

  • Extensive experience building and managing websites, with a strong focus on WordPress
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimization
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Proven track record of designing and executing SEO experiments or research projects
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with experience mentoring or leading teams
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as it relates to SEO
  • Familiarity with other CMS platforms or custom-built websites
  • Experience with A/B testing or multivariate testing in the context of SEO
  • Knowledge of website performance optimization tools and techniques

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of websites, primarily using WordPress, to explore and validate SEO strategies and technical implementations
  • Research and analyze SEO performance trends across various industries and markets to uncover new opportunities for optimization
  • Build and maintain testing environments for experiments related to on-page, technical, and content SEO
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of website performance data, using findings to refine strategies and enhance future experiments
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to translate research insights into actionable recommendations for Search Atlas’s platform and tools
  • Provide expertise and mentorship to team members in technical SEO and WordPress website development
