Research Assistant

Summary

Join Nielsen's Data Operations team in Singapore as a data operations associate. Responsibilities include capturing, coding, and delivering data to clients, conducting periodic data audits, troubleshooting technical queries, and supporting improvements to processes and procedures. Qualifications required include SPM/STPM/Diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of research and/or data management experience (preferred but not mandatory), interest in data analytics, proficiency in Google Suite Applications, strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, good communication in English, and strong interpersonal skills. Benefits include a base salary between MYR 2200 - MYR 2300 per month, medical insurance coverage, annual leave up to 15 days, festive leave, EPF & Socso, and growth and learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / STPM / Diploma or equivalent qualifications
• Ideally, have an interest in data analytics
• Google Suite Applications – Gmail, Google Doc, Google Slides, etc
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail
• Good organizational skills & the ability to juggle competing priorities
• Well-organized with the ability to plan and prioritize
• Good communication in English, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work well with others

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly data delivery reports/dashboards to our internal Client Services team and/or external clients
• Identify products and advertisements on media channels for data input
• Input timely and accurate information into our database platform in a quality-driven manner, adhering to internal processes/procedures and obtaining required approvals within specified timeframes
• Conduct periodic data audits to uphold the data integrity of data, reports and/or dashboards, participating in Quality Control checks/audits for all aspects of the Ad Intel processes
• Perform troubleshooting of technical data queries
• Work closely with internal Client Services team/s on clients’ requirements

Preferred Qualifications

1 to 2 years of research and/or data management experience
