Summary

Join our team as a Research Assistant to provide research assistance on geopolitical, regulatory, and operational risks in Greater China and North Asia. Assist with news monitoring, translation, and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• BA/BS or above
• Strong interest and research skills in the areas of policy and business
• Excellent Chinese and English language skills
• Good comprehension and communication experiences and skills

Responsibilities

• Provide Chinese- and English-language research assistance on a wide range of policy and business-related topics in Greater China and North Asia
• Assist with daily news monitoring of China’s government policies, reform progress, regulatory developments, as well as diplomatic and trade relations
• Provide Chinese-to-English translation and interpretation
• Accomplish other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred knowledge in political science, international relations, and/or international business and trade
