Join Rystad Energy's Upstream Team as an intern and contribute to researching major Latin America upstream markets, supporting database updates, and developing analysis reports.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, economics, physics, etc.), engineering, geology or geophysics
  • Attending the 8th term (semester) and above for 5-year courses or the 6th term and above for 4-year courses
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and written in English and Spanish
  • Proficient in Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, ability to structure large spreadsheets efficiently) and PowerPoint
  • With knowledge of Python and SQL being a plus to support data analysis and automation tasks
  • Data driven, solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player, fast learner and interested in energy-related topics particularly as they pertain to Argentina and Brazil
  • Eager to be part of an international company and have exposure to people from different countries daily

Responsibilities

  • Research of the major Latin America upstream markets in search of new sources of data
  • Support the update and quality control assessment of regional upstream databases
  • Support the development and management of dashboards in Power BI
  • Support the development of customized analysis, market reports and country reports
  • Support the development and coverage of new companies within existing upstream databases
  • Support the development of presentations for client meetings and webinars
