Requirements

• 3+ years of proposal writing experience, preferably in a complex organization
• Partnering/supporting high-level staff in the sales process
• Expert at proposal response development and customer-focused storytelling
• Demonstrates a natural command of language and understands AP Style guidelines
• Proven ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced, deadline-driven corporate environment
• Proven ability to work with minimal guidance on complex tasks within a defined proposal process

Responsibilities

• Write proposal responses for multiple markets by tailoring information from our content database and other company resources to accurately reflect solutions
• Partner with proposal team members to develop high-quality proposals that are responsive, accurate, concise, and strategic, and aligned to Brand and proposal style guidelines
• Demonstrate customer-focused writing by incorporating win themes, value propositions, benefits, differentiators, proof points and opportunity information into proposal responses, executive summaries and cover letters
• Work closely with sales, solution and product partners to develop custom content
• Incorporate and unify feedback into drafts from many sources within established deadlines
• Develop relationships across multiple departments and senior management to foster collaboration, teamwork and quality results
• Organize, prioritize and manage competing deadlines across multiple proposals and projects
• Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills by expressing complex solutions simply
• Balance independent and collaborative work with solid accountability
• Maintain product knowledge through trainings and self-led learning
• Escalate potential challenges in a timely and appropriate manner
• Participate in workgroups to drive continuous improvements
• Apply coaching feedback to improve and develop within role continuously
