Summary

Join Payability as a Risk Analyst and play a critical role in evaluating the creditworthiness of customers. You will review sales data and operational performance, oversee credit risk management, and ensure compliance. Using Looker and BigQuery, you'll produce data-driven risk reports. Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in financial risk operations, underwriting, or a similar role within fintech, alternative lending, or specialty finance
  • Proven understanding of credit analysis and underwriting principles
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to thrive in a high-speed, remote team environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; able to present findings clearly to a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to think critically and independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • A strong business acumen with interest in fintech and eCommerce innovation

Responsibilities

  • Review new financing applications by evaluating historical sales data and conducting general company research to assess credit risk
  • Monitor risk levels of existing customers and adjust credit limits as necessary during scheduled reviews
  • Assess e-commerce performance indicators, including sales trends, inventory levels, and order fulfillment metrics
  • Verify customer payout requests and approve them according to established risk guidelines
  • Create comprehensive risk reports using system-generated data via Looker and BigQuery
  • Ensure customer compliance with payment provider requirements and Payability’s general compliance standards. Complete monthly KYC audits in partnership with third-party vendors

Preferred Qualifications

Strong proficiency with Google Sheets and SQL; experience with Looker, BigQuery, and other reporting tools is highly preferred
