Summary

SwissBorg, a fintech company, is expanding its DeFi capabilities by hiring a Backend Rust Engineer to develop and integrate DEX technologies into their order management system. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services for various DEXs on the Solana blockchain, collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize systems, participate in code reviews, and stay updated with emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Rust programming with a solid understanding of its ecosystems
• Experience with blockchain technology (prior experience with Solana blockchain being a strong plus)
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the backend services for integration between our trading system and various decentralized exchanges (DEXes) on the Solana blockchain written in Rust
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionalities
• Optimize existing systems for scalability and performance
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and reliability
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and advancements in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space
