Summary

Join our team as a part-time, fully remote Safety and Support Specialist, providing safety advice to clients and administrative support to our internal team. This role requires strong communication, detail-orientation, and project management skills. You will advise clients on safety requirements, collaborate with teams, and assist with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, OSHA 30 certification, and 2-3 years of experience in workplace safety. Flexible hours are available between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm PST, with morning availability required. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.

Requirements

  • A keen eye for detail and organization
  • OSHA 30 Certified
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills
  • 2-3 years minimum of recent work experience and knowledge of workplace safety and health program requirements including IIPP, WVPP and HIPP, and various OSHA reporting requirements
  • Experience providing guidance on OSHA, safety, and compliance standards and best practices
  • Proactive approach and hyper awareness of responsibility to client commitments
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, understanding the importance of accuracy and timeliness
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Enjoy problem solving and demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidence while doing so
  • Experience working with a small team of decision-makers, with a focus on collaboration and openness
  • Proactively stay up to date on the latest OSHA changing requirements so that you can keep clients informed and in compliance

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with teams
  • Advise clients on safety requirements
  • Assist our Human Resources consultants with administrative support
  • Responding to safety questions
  • Zoom calls with clients to gather company specific information to help you customize safety or other HR related templates based on their specifications
  • Conducting trainings for our internal staff
  • Independent focus time to complete deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA-based candidate
  • Candidate with direct and recent experience advising CA based companies with OSHA compliance
