Sales Associate

Summary

Join Squishable as a Retail Sales Associate in their NYC or Washington DC offices. Engage with customers, maintain store standards, handle Point of Sale transactions, and manage inventory. Previous retail experience is preferred, especially in pop-up, promotional, or boutique environments.

Requirements

• Reasonably open availability with flexibility to work both evenings and weekends
• Capability to lift cartons up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and create a fun and memorable environment within the store
• Perform all POS transactions in an efficient and courteous manner
• Set and maintain exceptional brand and operational standards within the store
• Process inbound shipments
• Maintain efficient organization of inventory and ensure that all merchandise is displayed correctly as per brand visual guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail experience, preferably in a pop-up, promotional or boutique environment
• Familiarity with Square or similar POS software

Benefits

Pay rate for this role is between $16.85 an hour
