Summary

Join PostHog as their first ever SalesOps Engineer and help scale their sales tech stack from 12 people selling 10 products to 100+ people selling 50+ products! This fully remote, greenfield role requires extensive backend engineering experience with Python and SQL, a strong commercial focus, and experience with workflow orchestration. You will build and maintain the entire system that keeps sales, CS, and onboarding teams working effectively. Requirements

  • You have extensive backend engineering experience
  • You are very familiar with Python and SQL
  • You have experience with workflow orchestration and task processing tools
  • Strong commercial focus - you really care about having an impact on revenue
  • You have started a project from scratch

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the entire system (workflows, integrations, and data structures) that keep our sales, CS, and onboarding teams working effectively as we scale super fast
  • Take the lead on structuring our sales and CS data architecture
  • Ensure the sales & CS teams have the right data at their disposal to do their jobs effectively
  • Automate the heck out of sales processes wherever possible
  • Build custom solutions to improve sales team efficiency, like workflows for smoother renewals so we don’t accidentally miss someone
  • Maintain integrations between our main systems - today we use Salesforce, Vitally, Zendesk, and PostHog, as well as our own billing system

Preferred Qualifications

  • You don’t have to have experience in Salesforce Service Cloud development, but it would definitely help if you did
  • Prior experience in building tools to support revenue organizations
