SAP Basis Consultant

Summary

Join our dynamic team at Nagarro's global SAP business unit as we scale in a big way! We're looking for great new colleagues to ensure system operation, error analysis, and maintenance of customer systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for system administration, configuration, and planning of SAP HANA. You'll also support customers with 2nd and 3rd level support in trouble shooting and performance services.

Requirements

• Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends
• Completed university studies in business informatics / computer science or comparable qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades, patches, DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems
• Sound knowledge in at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2 etc
• Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the system operation as well as the error analysis, maintenance and execution of system updates of the customer systems
• Carry out common basic projects, such as release upgrades for ABAP as well as for Java and take over the project management if necessary
• Responsible for the technology planning of SAP HANA as well as the HANA migration
• Support our customers as 2nd and 3rd level support in the areas of trouble shooting and performance services
• Support in presales activities for new customers in the area of platform services
