Team Lead, SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Summary

Join Nagarro's SAP business unit as a Team Leader and take disciplinary responsibility for a 6-person SAP development team in Germany. You will support implementation projects, deliver high-quality support, conduct staffing and hiring interviews, and develop your team's competencies. Responsibilities include planning and ensuring SAP development support, contributing expert knowledge to development-specific SAP topics, working on various SAP project types, and further developing development standards and internal processes. The role requires solid experience in SAP development and initial leadership or project management experience. Requirements

• Solid experience of at least 6 years in SAP development with ABAP, ABAP OO, RICEFW as well as in the implementation of SAP applications based on SAP ECC Business Suite and S/4HANA
• Initial leadership experience and/or project management experience
• Experience in support, managed services and ITIL processes
• Fluent in German (C1) and fluent in English (B2)

Responsibilities

• Take disciplinary responsibility for a 6-person SAP development team in Germany (cross-site)
• Support implementation projects and deliver high-quality support in the area of Project Services to our customers
• Bring in new ideas and present solutions to customers
• Take on staffing and workload responsibility for your team including students
• Conduct staffing and hiring interviews
• Develop your team's competencies
• Plan and ensure SAP development support for existing customers
• Contribute expert knowledge to development-specific SAP topics through technical consulting and your own implementations
• Perform requirements analysis, concept development, quality assurance and operational support
• Work on various SAP project types (greenfield, brownfield, roll-outs, etc.) and develop new concepts as part of a team at our customers' sites and remotely (Nagarro Office or home office)
• Further develop development standards and internal processes with your team leader colleagues and ensure its compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Fiori/UI5 development, CDS views and OData services
• Knowledge of other SAP technologies such as interface and forms development
• Commitment and motivation to grow the team and develop into new technologies
