SAP Basis Consultant

As a key member of our team, you will ensure system operation, perform error analysis, maintain and update customer systems, and manage projects such as release upgrades for ABAP and Java. You will be responsible for SAP HANA technology planning and migration, providing 2nd and 3rd level support, and assisting in presales activities. The role requires experience in SAP system setup and operation, upgrades, and database upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems, along with strong knowledge of SAP databases. Requirements

• Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends
• Completed university studies in business informatics / computer science or comparable qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades, patches, DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems
• Sound knowledge in at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2 etc
• Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the system operation as well as the error analysis, maintenance and execution of system updates of the customer systems
• Carry out common basic projects, such as release upgrades for ABAP as well as for Java and take over the project management if necessary
• System Administration and Configuration - You are responsible for the technology planning of SAP HANA as well as the HANA migration
• Support our customers as 2nd and 3rd level support in the areas of trouble shooting and performance services
• Support in presales activities for new customers in the area of platform services
• Incident and Problem Management
