Summary
Join the METRO Global Solution Center as an Integration Specialist and contribute to the successful upgrade of METROβs Finance to SAP S/4HANA. This critical role within the LUCA program focuses on designing, configuring, and implementing integration strategies across multiple systems. You will collaborate with various teams to develop integration scenarios, ensure seamless data flow, and share best practices. The position requires strong SAP integration experience, leadership skills, and the ability to manage large-scale projects. Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Possess SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4HANA or related SAP certifications
- Have experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or other middleware integration tools
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration with both SAP and non-SAP systems
- Show familiarity with API Management, web services (SOAP/REST), and IDoc protocols
- Have 5+ years of experience in SAP integration and leading large-scale projects
- Possess in-depth knowledge of business processes in finance and indirect procurement
- Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills in English
- Be able to travel (around 20-25% of working time)
Responsibilities
- Support the design, configuration, and implementation of integration strategies across the S/4HANA landscape, ensuring seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems
- Work closely with Metro.digital, LUCA Program functional, and technical teams to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with business processes and technical capabilities
- Develop and manage integration scenarios for data migration, system interfaces, and middleware integration, ensuring end-to-end process automation
- Oversee the implementation and configuration of middleware solutions to facilitate smooth communication between systems
- Share industry best practices for system integration, providing guidance and training to internal teams on methodologies, tools, and integration standards
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of integration-related issues, minimizing disruptions and ensuring business continuity
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations
- Manage integration projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery, scope management, and clear communication with stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and explore new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the curve in system integration capabilities
