Remote Scientific Director

Summary

Join Lockwood as a Scientific Director and lead the planning, development, and oversight of scientific content for assigned accounts across various therapeutic areas.

Requirements

• An advanced degree in science is required
• 10 or more years of relevant job experience with promotional medical education content such as advisory boards, speaker programs, slide decks, etc
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
• Multitasking ability
• Ability to work independently and manage projects within tight deadlines with limited direction
• Experience with established professional medical editorial processes (eg, AMA style) and ethical guidelines
• Experience with a broad range of therapeutic areas

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned accounts
• Lead client interactions and brand strategy
• Lead the scientific portion of brand planning and business development
• Manage resource allocation
• Partner with client services to develop SOWs and timelines
• Identify areas for new and organic growth

Preferred Qualifications

Rare Disease and Oncology experience would be a plus
