Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent and a CPA
- 6+ years of work experience, majority in a Big 4 public accounting firm
- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and deliver high quality results within established timeframes
- Strong technical accounting background, with experience in revenue (ASC 606), stock-based compensation (ASC 718), segment reporting (ASC 280) and leases (ASC 842)
- Ability to independently research accounting & reporting issues, propose solutions, and effectively document conclusions with excellent written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Gsuite

Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross functionally to coordinate and prepare filings from a robust information gathering process required for SEC filings (i.e. 8-Ks, 10-Q's & 10-K's)
- Compilation of financial statements, managementβs discussion and analysis, and footnote disclosures
- Performs and documents in technical memorandum accounting research and provides technical guidance as needed
- Draft and update Accounting Policies, as needed throughout the year
- Monitor, assess and implement new accounting pronouncements applicable to the company
- Work collaboratively with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Ensure compliance with all SOX internal control requirements
- Implement process improvements to streamline the financial reporting process and improve information quality
- Take the lead on disclosure committee meetings
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ownership of end-to-end SEC reporting and earnings cycle
