Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years experience directly supporting projects and programs of highly cross-functional technical teams (i.e. Security, Engineering, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working experience with various project and program management methodologies (i.e. Agile, etc.)
- Experience with program and project status tracking and reporting
- Experience building successful relationships with cross functional teams to help foster program participation and adoption
- You are comfortable handling the unknown, and bring clarity in ambiguous situations
Responsibilities
- Program and Project Management - coach and support teams in managing key programs and ensuring focus and prioritization continually follows committed strategic focus; occasionally managing projects directly
- Process Improvement - able to identify gaps or regular pain points and generate lightweight processes or automation to drive efficiencies in team operations
- Business Operations - work with Security team members to support strategic initiatives and priorities, ensuring critical work is driven to completion by subject matter experts
- Data Analysis - assess available data for reporting of project metrics and impact analysis as a result of projects completed by security teams
- Tool Management - develop a deep understanding of the security tech stack and architecture and assist in the evaluation of new tools and technologies to scale Security operations and maturity
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Serve as a liaison for Security with cross-functional partners for program and project coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in start up or high-growth environments, with high levels of ambiguity
- Experience presenting to various management levels and staff
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOC2, ISO, NIST, and GDPR
- Knowledge of threat detection methodologies, incident response lifecycle, and security best practices
- Experience with cloud security practices, specifically in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities and best practices
