Security Risk Analyst

You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and advise business units on information security. Relevant certifications are highly desirable. The salary ranges from $2,000 to $2,700 USD per month, and the position is for an independent contractor with remote work. GoFasti will manage the application process, including client interviews and onboarding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security risk assessment and risk management
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, risk mitigation techniques, and industry best practices
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with business partners

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of vulnerabilities identified within the organization's information systems and processes
• Develop and recommend effective risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a trusted advisor to various business units, providing expert guidance on information security risks and helping to implement appropriate controls
• Clearly and effectively communicate risk assessment findings, recommendations, and security policies to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in information security to continuously enhance risk management practices

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar are highly desirable
