As a Sr. Data and Insight Engineer, you will lead the development of data pipelines between Zendesk and Salesforce, ensuring seamless data flow. You will utilize AWS Glue and Lambda to build scalable and reliable ingestion paths, collaborating with data architects and product teams. The role demands expertise in data engineering, AWS Glue, Salesforce, and Zendesk integrations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 + Years of experience working in Data or Integration Engineering, preferably with SaaS platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce
  • Hands-on experience with Zendesk
  • Familiarity with SaaS APIs (REST/ GraphQL ) – writing syncs from Zendesk, Salesforce, etc
  • Experience working with Salesforce Campaigns, Contacts, Case Objects – Salesforce object knowledge for attribution and CX analytics use cases
  • Zendesk and Salesforce integration: allows sales and support teams to collaborate by sharing customer information and support activities between the two platforms
  • Proven experience setting up AWS Glue-based integrations
  • Strong background in data engineering, especially in transformation and integration workflows
  • Ability to work with both near-real-time and batch data processing
  • Experience implementing logging, alerting, and error handling with retry mechanisms
  • Advanced English Level is required for this role , as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AWS Glue jobs with embedded data quality monitoring and validation layers
  • Create schema mapping rules and ingestion validation logic to ensure data consistency across platforms
  • Design workflows for sync frequency (e.g., real-time or scheduled), logging, alerting, and error handling with retry mechanisms
  • Contribute to long-term architecture, integration roadmaps, and documentation for maintainability
  • Write unit tests and debug integration workflows to ensure reliability in production
