Summary

Join Accela as a Sr. AI Solutions Architect to design and implement AI/ML solutions for the Accela Civic Platform and Digital Plan Room. You will collaborate with various teams to understand requirements, translate them into architectural solutions, and oversee implementation and maintenance. Responsibilities include developing end-to-end AI/ML architecture, working with stakeholders to gather requirements, developing AI solutions and roadmaps, participating in architectural discussions, choosing appropriate tools and deployment types, establishing best practices, monitoring and optimizing AI systems, providing technical leadership, and ensuring ethical AI implementations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and proven experience in software and AI architect roles are required. Proficiency in Python and strong communication skills are also essential. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Proven experience in software and AI architect roles
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies such as LLMs, RAG, Computer Vision Models, Machine Learning Algorithms and related technologies
  • Proficient with the Phython Programming Language and AI tools and frameworks
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end AI/ML architecture, ensuring accuracy, scalability, performance, and cost are in alignment with organizational goals and products
  • Work with stakeholders, including business users, data scientists, and IT operations, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Develop AI solutions, frameworks, and roadmaps for AI adoption across different product workflows
  • Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on design decisions, frameworks, and technology choices
  • Choose appropriate open-source and commercial tools, deployment types, and ensure compatibility with existing systems
  • Establish best practices for AI/ML lifecycle management, including model training, deployment pipelines (CI/CD), and diagnostic monitoring
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot AI systems to ensure high performance
  • Provide technical leadership, share knowledge, and promote best practices in AI/ML within the organization
  • Ensure AI implementations adhere to ethical standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Javascript
  • Good understanding of microservices architetures and REST API design
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD
  • Good understanding of Containers, Kubernetes and related technologies
