Summary

Join ReSource Pro as a Senior Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions and play a key role in executing the company's M&A strategy. You will identify and track opportunities, conduct due diligence, create financial analyses and models, and assist with post-acquisition integration. This remote position, based in the US, requires a strong finance and accounting background, excellent communication and analytical skills, and 2-5 years of M&A experience. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and present to executive leadership. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics, or equivalent
  • Live in the Eastern time zone
  • 2-5 years' experience in M&A
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication
  • Superb professionalism and ability to present to individuals at the Executive level
  • Outstanding business acumen
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of quantitative valuation methodologies, DCF, comparable company analysis, sum of the parts, data tables, and advanced knowledge of key financial accounting and US GAAP principles

Responsibilities

  • Identify and track M&A opportunities
  • Conduct due diligence
  • Create financial analysis and models
  • Create board presentations
  • Create investment business case decks
  • Assist with post-acquisition integration
  • Monitor the performance of prior acquisitions
  • Conduct research and industry analysis to identify, qualify, and prioritize potential M&A targets in core and adjacent markets
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and key financial metrics to assess the attractiveness of target business
  • Organize and maintain prioritization lists for the executive team, synthesizing large volumes of data into actionable insights
  • Assist in deal execution through due diligence and integration; Prepare and execute detailed project plans
  • Support the creation and execution of value creation plans; Contribute to financial diligence calls
  • Prepare financial, qualitative and valuation analyses, including P&L forecasts, cash flows, financial models, and other ad hoc financial analyses related to acquisition activities
  • Prepare and present investment presentations for ReSource Pro's executive team, private equity sponsor, and Board of Directors
  • Develop simple and insightful financial models from raw data to evaluate target company profitability and key financial metrics for presentation to the board
  • Develop and execute due diligence agendas, focusing on strategic plans, growth profiles, and key business drivers
  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Revenue, Finance, Technology, Talent, Operations, Marketing) to gather and synthesize critical due diligence information
  • Support relationships with C-suite and executive teams at potential partner organizations
