You will work directly with clients, gathering data and conducting interviews to support investment and acquisition decisions. This role requires collaboration with team members and presenting findings to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • Expert level Excel capabilities
  • Strong Analytical mindset
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions
  • Comfortable presenting data and insights in a clear, structured way for different audiences
  • The ability to build Powerpoint charts/stories to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of software industry and financials and operations of a software company
  • A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with software / tech company (finance, operations or R&D functions) or consulting firm

Responsibilities

  • Analyze P&L and other financial statements to evaluate Companies spend on R&D, hosting, labor
  • Analyze revenue composition and trends, and margin trends
  • Analyze org structure and census to profile the organization by roles, geo footprint, compensation, tenure, attrition
  • Analyze key performance indicators and metrics related to key processes for a software / tech company – such as product development predictability, productivity, quality
  • Perform relevant benchmarking for categories above
  • Participate in sessions with clients to request the necessary data and conduct necessary interviews
  • Develop presentations depicting the analysis results
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate the analysis into the overall deliverables
