Summary

Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Data Science
- Have 3–5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality data models and reporting assets
- Possess advanced proficiency with dbt (Cloud or Core) and experience designing modular, well-documented transformation layers in a modern data stack
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills, with a deep understanding of data modeling best practices—particularly in a Kimball-style dimensional warehouse
- Have experience working with cloud data warehouses, especially Amazon Redshift, including performance tuning and query optimization
- Have hands-on experience with BI tools, preferably Looker, including explore and dashboard development and LookML configuration
- Possess a product mindset—focused on enabling others through clean, reusable data assets rather than one-off analyses
Responsibilities
- Work hands-on in dbt, Redshift, and Looker to design trusted, scalable data models that drive decision-making across the company
- Partner with data scientists, product managers, and operational leaders to turn complex questions into elegant data solutions
- Build a clean, well-documented analytics layer in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience building and maintaining a centralized semantic layer for a multi-team or multi-domain environment
- Have experience working in a healthcare or regulated data environment, with an understanding of HIPAA or PHI considerations in analytics
- Have exposure to event-based data models (e.g., user interaction or engagement logs) and translating them into reporting-friendly structures
- Be comfortable working in stakeholder-facing roles, helping non-technical teams frame data questions and self-serve from curated datasets
- Have experience contributing to data platform or data governance initiatives, such as metric standardization, data cataloging, or access management
- Have familiarity with CI/CD practices in analytics engineering, including dbt Cloud jobs, testing frameworks, and version control (e.g., Git)
