Senior Android Engineer

Requirements

• Be a Vietnamese citizen or hold a valid work visa for Vietnam
• Work full-time, requiring 40 hours of work per week
• Be fluent in English for communication with international teams
• Possess strong logical thinking, be skilled at analyzing and solving problems, and have good communication abilities
• Demonstrate strong English proficiency and communicate fluently with team members and stakeholders across various regions, particularly with the US team
• Be proficient in common Git commands and workflows, particularly those related to GitHub pull requests
• Have solid knowledge of data structures, programming skills, engineering capabilities, and clean coding practices
• Master Computer Science fundamentals and Android design patterns and best practices
• Have 5+ years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin and shipping apps to the Google Play Store
• Have 3+ years of experience in modern Kotlin development, including proficiency with Jetpack libraries, Jetpack Compose, and best practices for building robust and scalable Android applications
• Have experience with unit testing and automation testing

Responsibilities

• Work an average of 8 hours a day, allowing for flexibility and autonomy
• Allocate time for daily communication and prompt response with the team, ensuring efficient task completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Have prior experience with remote work
• Be available to work during the US Eastern Time Zone (9 pm and 5 am Vietnam Time) or at least a 5-hour overlap between 9 pm and 2 am Vietnam Time for effective collaboration across teams in different time zones
