Summary

The role involves understanding and defining study goals, translating goals into study plans, providing scientific and technical support, collaborating cross-functionally, driving customer-centered innovation, creating scientific and educational content, and representing Nomic in the field.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in relevant field, e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as technical support, application scientist, or field scientist
  • Proven track record of effective customer interaction and support in a scientific or technical role within the biotechnology industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely. Any additional language is a plus
  • Proven experience in working independently as well as part of a team in an efficient and structured fashion
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to ~25% of the time
  • Knowledge of proteomics or biomarker discovery is required

Responsibilities

  • Understand and Define Study Goals: Engage with customers to uncover their scientific goal behind their studies by asking targeted, insightful questions
  • Translate Goals into Study Plans: Turn high-level scientific questions into actionable experimental designs or data analysis strategies that support impactful results
  • Provide Scientific and Technical Support: Support customers across all stages of study design, execution, and interpretation. Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to ensure smooth workflows and high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and internal scientific teams to deliver customer solutions, share field insights, and support internal operations
  • Drive Customer-Centered Innovation: Capture and communicate customer feedback to inform product improvements and internal process enhancements
  • Create Scientific and Educational Content: Contribute to the development of application notes, technical documentation, and marketing materials that support customer adoption and product positioning
  • Represent Nomic in the Field: Participate in conferences, customer meetings, and workshops to showcase our technology and establish thought leadership

Preferred Qualifications

Experience from nELISA, multiplex technologies is desirable. Experience in data analysis and coding is a plus
