Requirements

  • Practical experience solving user or customer problems by incorporating AI capabilities into solutions in a business context
  • Experience testing and tuning models and prompts to optimize results
  • Experience in optimizing AI workflows for different factors including cost or performance optimization
  • Experience researching AI and ML solutions and how to tailor them for different customer needs (interaction with RAG and multi-modal solutions as examples)
  • Ability to understand and break down complex problems into manageable pieces that a team can deliver together
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with rapid prototyping for learning and then building for scale
  • Experience mentoring less experienced developers especially in AI concepts and technologies
  • Effective communicator in both individual and group settings for both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy solutions to real-world problems leveraging generative and chain of thought AI, data analytics and RouteThis telemetry, photo and video data sets
  • Explore appropriate AI-focused solutions to incorporate into product enhancements
  • Participate in architectural and system design discussions with other engineering team members
  • Mentor team members less experienced with AI technologies
  • Lead by example demonstrating the skills and behaviours needed to succeed as a senior engineering team member
  • Collaborate with product managers, customer experience team members, and customers to better understand key problems to be solved
