Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working in software quality domain
  • 3+ years of automation testing
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript
  • Ability to validate data and write SQL queries
  • Expertise in tools such as Cypress, Appium, Postman
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with source code version control tools such as Git
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure, Aws or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of test management tools such as Jira, Azure ADO
  • Clear communication, with a track record of working effectively with development engineering and other functions

Responsibilities

  • Be a quick learner and gain product domain knowledge
  • Understand functional and non-functional requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile applications
  • Create reusable and scalable test automation frameworks
  • Debug and troubleshoot and optimize automation scripts as needed
  • Identify, report, and track defects with detailed documentation, work with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure early detection of issues
  • Perform end-to-end solution & quarterly regression testing, compatibility testing, performance testing
  • Evaluate and communicate risks associated with quality issues to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement automation testing strategies for complex projects
  • Drive QA standards and practices throughout the engineering organization
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other QA members on standards, practices, and tools
