Senior Automation Engineer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation, specifically using the Cucumber framework for at least 3 years. The candidate should have proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python and be familiar with tools like Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Postman, and RestAssured. Key responsibilities include developing automated test scripts, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, performing RESTful API testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting issues related to test automation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, with at least 3 years specifically using the Cucumber framework
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python
• In-depth knowledge of the Cucumber framework and Gherkin language
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and other test automation tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Understanding of RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Cucumber framework and Gherkin language
• Utilize Selenium WebDriver and other test automation tools to enhance our testing processes
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Perform RESTful API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality releases
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation and provide guidance to junior team members
