Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in automation engineering, with specific expertise in OSI PI and DeltaV systems
  • Proven experience in implementing and configuring PI software for data collection, storage, and visualization
  • Familiarity with PI visualization software, including PI Builder, PI Datalink, and PI Vision
  • Experience in creating design specification documents for server and software configurations
  • Strong understanding of multi-environment PI system architectures
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects in parallel
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and influence stakeholders
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools

Responsibilities

  • Perform OSI PI tag modifications and develop and modify RtReports for new equipment running DeltaV
  • Implement PI software for clients to collect, store, and visualize data
  • Configure multi-environment PI system architectures to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility
  • Utilize PI Builder for tag creation, PI Datalink, and PI Vision for data visualization
  • Create design specification (DS) documents outlining server and software configurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of automation solutions
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PI system-related issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and configurations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation processes and outcomes
