Summary

Join Encora as a Senior Azure Cloud Technical Solutions Architect and play a hands-on role in designing and implementing cloud solutions, primarily on the Azure platform. This remote position, available in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Bolivia, is crucial for developing, testing, and maintaining Azure Landing Zones. Reporting to the Cloud Architect Lead, you will focus on technical execution, collaborating with various teams, and developing PoCs. You will demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing and contribute to technical roadmaps. Project management assistance is also expected, aligning technical solutions with business objectives.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Have extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Possess professional/advanced English skills
• Have +5 years of experience
• Hold Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
• Have proficiency in a wide range of Azure services for large-scale, highly-critical applications, including App Service, AKS, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Functions, Logic Apps, etc
• Have deep knowledge of cloud architecture styles, design patterns, and cloud migration strategies, employing Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, Azure Landing Zones, among others
• Have knowledge of Azure governance principles, including role-based access control, landing zones, cost management controls
• Have expertise in Infrastructure as Code methodologies, with hands-on experience in tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates, and Bicep

Responsibilities

• Execute Azure cloud strategy, including developing, implementing, and overseeing Azure-based solutions
• Be responsible for Azure infrastructure projects, deploying cloud environments for hosting business application services
• Work closely with application, network, and security teams to reflect requirements in the Azure design
• Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) as required, providing expertise and leadership regarding solutions for infrastructure and applications in Azure
• Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing and develop technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations
• Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions
