Summary

The job is for a Senior BackEnd Developer at Yubo, a social discovery app for Gen Z. The role involves managing real-time message flows, developing APIs, and collaborating with the data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience in start-ups or scale-ups, master Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP (or AWS or Azure), and have good communication skills, adaptability, autonomy, and a challenge-driven mindset.

Requirements

• Professional background: > 6 years Start-up / Scale-up Having worked in a team
• Must have: mastering Node.js , MongoDB, Redis, TypeScript, Postgre
• Experience with: Docker, Kubernetes, GCP (or AWS or Azure)

Responsibilities

• Work with data, infrastructure and mobile teams
• Managing real-time message flows
• Make the event driven architecture grow
• Develop APIs for Yubo's mobile application
• Work with the data eng team to create new data models

Preferred Qualifications

• Nice to have: system/infrastructure knowledge and broker (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS…)
• Knowledge of couchbase would be a plus
• Have worked on different issues and in different contexts
• Nice to have : GO / C++
